1 Hot Cup Before Bed…Sleep Deeply
Every single food that you eat, as well as what you breathe in, makes its way through your liver. The liver has a magnificent job to purify, detoxify your system so your bloodstream can stay healthy. The liver has so many different functions and all the blood leaving the stomach and intestines passed through the liver.
The liver processes this blood and breaks it down. It balances it, it creates the nutrients, it metabolizes drugs into forms that are easier to use for the rest of the body or that are nontoxic. Your liver produces bile, it metabolizes fats, proteins and carbohydrates. It activates enzymes, it stores glycogen, vitamins and minerals.
There are millions of people who are walking around with high blood sugar levels, obesity, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels in these underlying conditions, particularly those processed foods, processed sugars, the inflammatory changes that are happening within our body is placing a tremendous load on our liver. Liver, fibrosis, cirrhosis, fatty liver.
All these conditions are directly and indirectly to a poor lifestyle. Chamomile tea is known to do wonderful things to help cleanse the liver and keep it healthy. It has antiinflammatory and antiseptic properties that will improve the state of our body in so many different ways.

And honey has healing medicinal properties as antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal. Honey is a natural source of flavonoids. And honey can also help in protecting the liver from bile obstruction damage, as well as protecting the liver from toxic substances.
So I like to share this simple mixer that’s going to do wonderful things to help you sleep deeply and cleanse your liver overnight. You’re going to need one cup of hot water, approximately ten to 12oz, one chamomile tea bag, one quarter teaspoon of ground ginger, the juice of one half lemon and a few drizzles of honey, or, if needed, a natural sweetener.
So you’re going to take your chamomile tea bag, put it in a hot cup of water. You’ll add your ginger as well as your lemon. You’ll stir it up, you’ll let it seep for about eight to ten minutes, then add a few drizzles of honey or your natural sweetener, if needed.
You’re going to drink this about one half hour to 45 minutes before you go to bed. You will see that your brain will start to relax. Your body will wind down, and you’re going to fall asleep much quicker and hopefully sleep much deeper.
You’re going to experience these great detoxifying physiological changes your liver is going to go through while you’re sleeping.
