Eating This Antioxidant Fruit Everyday…Helps Clean Clogged Arteries Away
This tangy, sweet, crunchy, satisfying apple. Yes, it does have healing medicinal properties for our body. We all have heard an apple a day can keep the doctor away. Well, I am going to share with you the truth behind that.
Multiple studies found that apples effectively lower the bad cholesterol while simultaneously helping eliminate the excess cholesterol from the veins and arteries, thereby helping prevent cardiovascular disease.
Just an apple a day provides antioxidants, which help reduce the oxidation of fats, keeping our blood vessels healthy. And don’t ever get rid of that skin, because that’s where the pectin lies. And that’s where the magic happens in your body.
It’s full of bioflavonoids. And over half of the pectin resides within the skin between the soluble fiber and those antioxidant compounds called polyphenols. That’s what prevents the bad cholesterol that builds up in your arteries.
And this, in turn, reduces the risk of heart disease. And apples are free of saturated fat, sodium, and cholesterol, and those are the primary things that leads to heart disease. But that pectin in the apple is a prebiotic that makes its way through the small intestine.
And once it gets to the large intestine, it feeds those probiotics. Research experts at the University of Nottingham and King’s College in London discovered a link between the gut microbiome and hardening of the arteries called atherosclerosis.
And they proved that a lack of diversity or range of healthy bacteria in the gut has a direct link to many various health problems, including cardiovascular problems, diabetes, obesity, and other inflammatory problems.
So by eating the pectin, that natural soluble fiber within the skin of the apple, that’s going to sustain normal glucose levels, preventing your glucose from spiking. It’s going to take stress off the pancreas. A study from Ohio State University suggests that eating a apple a day can prevent hardening of the arteries up to 40%.
It’s that pectin, that fiber, that slows down that clogging process in the arteries. No matter what kind of apples you buy, it’s your responsibility to wash them correctly. Take a brush, use a little bit of baking soda and lemon or a little vinegar, and get that residue off that waxy substance or those pesticides.
And when you cut your apples and you leave them out, they may oxidize, they start to turn brown. That’s okay. But put a little lemon over the apple if it’s in a salad or in your refrigerator, and that will keep it from browning.
So eat your apples and don’t get rid of that skin, because this can do wonders for the health and wealth of your body. Please share this video with your friends and family. Leave your comments below because there will be many. And most important, make it a great day.
