Well, I want to explain to you the amazing medicinal healing benefits of what cinnamon can do for you. Ericadonic acid is an inflammatory fatty acid that is released into the membranes of blood platelets. And this is key because it promotes the formation of plaque in the arteries.

But cinnamon has the ability to prevent that release of that. Ericadonic acid, one of the strongest key components in cinnamon is cinnamaldehyde. And this has the antiinflammatory properties to reduce the secretion of thromboxane, a two that’s found in the bloodstream of patients suffering from heart disease.

And from our poorer diet of high glycemic foods that’s highly processed and refined, we start developing insulin resistance. The cells of our bodies not being receptive to insulin, it’s not allowing glucose to get into the cells. Glucose is building up in the bloodstream. And this leads to a lot of formation of plaque and inflammation.

And that also contributes to high cholesterol levels, particularly the bad cholesterol. The low density lipoproteins are known as LDLs. But what’s really exciting is that cinnamon is known to raise the good cholesterol, the HDLs.

And the function of those HDLs is to search for those LDLs, the bad cholesterol that causes the plaquing in the arteries, and to pick them up and bring them back to the liver so they can be excreted from the body. And that’s powerful.

That not only helps reverse atherosclerosis, but helps prevent it as well. And when that inflammation continues within the arteries, we then develop platelet aggregation. We start developing a cluster of platelets that starts to form into a clot known as atherosclerosis, picking up the LDLs as well as other minerals, particularly calcium.

And not only will cinnamon help that condition, but cinnamon has a direct effect within the internal arterial wall. This causes an increase of nitric oxide, this allows the arteries to expand, and that means more oxygen to the heart.

And it’s the clogged arteries, particularly the coronary arteries, when they are clogged, that can lead to a heart attack. And the arteries that go up to the brain, that will lead to a stroke. And when those arteries continue to dilate, we are lowering blood pressure.
