How come there are so many gastrointestinal issues, problems, diseases, conditions worldwide, not just in your country, throughout the entire world. It because of so much refined and processed foods. And in a nutshell, what does that mean?

That means they’re stripping the fiber out of those foods. Those foods are sitting on the shelves in those boxes for weeks or even months or even years because of that refined process, unfortunately.

Who’s suffering? We’re suffering. Fiber does so many magical things for our body. Wow. Just from heart disease to lowering triglycerides and cholesterol, sustaining normal insulin and glucose levels, helping prevent constipation, preventing gas, preventing acid reflux, the list goes on.

And what about cancers? Colon, rectal cancers, breast cancers? They’re all tied into lack of fiber. Now, there are two kinds of fiber. Insoluble fiber, found in fruits and vegetables, nuts and grains. That’s indigestible.

While it does move through the digestive process, it’s not absorbed, it just passes through. Because the body is unable to digest this fiber, it leads to a longer duration of feeling full after a meal. And our soluble fiber, found in fruits, nuts, oats, barley, chia seeds, as well as many other foods, interacts with water by forming a gel like substance.

This gel, produced by soluble fiber, lubricates the stools and helps to flush the colon of unhealthy bacteria and waste as it passes through. And most of our fruits and vegetables, legumes, nuts, have soluble and insoluble fiber together.

But here is the ticket. The soluble fiber is so important because that’s our prebiotic, that feeds our probiotics and our colon. That’s how it thrives, that’s how it grows, that’s what keeps you healthy. That’s your immune system.

There’s a direct link between the colon and the brain, a direct link between the colon and the heart, because a healthy colon can lower heart disease. Look at fiber as a scrub brush effect.

It’s a brush just getting in there and scraping out the bad bacteria, pushing it out, pushing the waste toxins out, not allowing that waste to sit in there for long periods of time, which eventually could lead to more toxins throughout our body that makes its way through the colon into our bloodstream.

Auto intoxication, a lot of, like, bad breath, weakness, tiredness, fatigue, as well as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis. Actually, all diseases, one way or another, directly or indirectly, is related to the colon. So here is your homework.

Google soluble and insoluble fibers. Understand the difference. The foods that you now can choose from in the future, the ones that you enjoy. It will make a huge difference. That fiber will make you poop regular, I promise you. But you must add lots of water, lots of fluid.

That is so important. That will help detoxify your system. It will increase peristalsis and your intestines and will prevent many, many problems. Please share this video with your friends and family. Leave your comments below. And most important, make it a great day. I’m Dr. Alan Mandel.
