How Apple Cider Vinegar Keeps Your Digestive System & Gut Healthy
Now, most of us know about that raw organic apple cider vinegar with the mother. You see that stuff moving around on the bottom? That’s made up of proteins, enzymes, as well as good bacteria. Well, guess what? Our intestines needs that good bacteria, the good probiotics.
Not only will that make you more regular, but that will strengthen your immune system to keep your entire body healthy. And those special enzymes in the mother is essential for breaking down foods so that your body can make use of the nutrients that you consume.
Now, most raw foods do contain live enzymes, and that’s healthy. But when we heat up those raw foods, those enzymes die. And what about the processed and the refined foods that you’re eating in the box or on the shelves?
That has no enzymes. So we’re causing a deficiency within our body. But apple cider vinegar, the mother has those specific enzymes that’s going to make up for those lost enzymes that you’re not getting. Apple cider vinegar with the mother will help those healthy blood sugar levels.
It works with your body to increase insulin sensitivity and to ensure a slow, steady release of sugar into the bloodstream. And it slows that transit time of your stomach, emptying the food. That means it makes you feel fuller, giving you that sense of satiety, especially those who are trying to also lose weight.
So the pectin with in the apple cider vinegar, a water soluble fiber, is a prebiotic. And prebiotics are designed to help feed the probiotics in the gut. And when your intestinal flora is working at its best, you are going to become more regular.
Drinking apple cider vinegar, starting out on one teaspoon and gradually working up to one tablespoon to one glass of water will do wonders for you. Drinking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, waiting about 1015, maybe 20 minutes before your first meal, you will start to see that peristalsis, those intestines starting to turn back on.
So get rid of those processed and refined foods that’s sitting on the shelf, that’s sitting in those cartons inside your cabinet. They have no fiber. They’re dead enzymes. There’s no nutritional value that’s going to help your body. Your body needs those live enzymes to keep your immune system strong and to keep your body functioning at its most optimal potential.
Start eating lots of fruits and vegetables. That fiber is going to do you wonders. Make sure you exercise, drink lots of water, and get a good night’s sleep.
