It’s churning, it’s processing. It’s overstimulated. We need to lower the brain activity. There is one part of our brain that we are concerned about. It’s called the prefrontal cortex. This is the part of the brain that’s continually processing things throughout the entire day.

So even though you may feel tired when you go to bed, that increased brain activity that’s churning throughout the day has never slowed down. So here is the good news for all the many people worldwide who are still having problems with sleeping, who have been to doctors, taken medications and tried all different kinds of alternative therapies and have still failed.

This technique may be for you. When you’re about to go to sleep, take your ice pack and put it on top of your forehead. That’s going to help cool the frontal cortex of your brain. When we look at neural biology, insomnia is a disorder of hyper arousal.

So when we look at insomniacs, there’s an increase of brain activity. In adults with normal sleeping patterns, the metabolism of the prefrontal cortex decreases as they fall asleep. In insomniacs, difficulty getting to sleep, the brain activity increases, causing this brain chatter as the brain is still continually overworking as it’s processing in the prefrontal cortex.

So when you’re about to sleep, take a paper towel, put it in front of the ice pack so you do not burn your skin. Hold it there about ten minutes. This is going to cause a cerebral hypothermia. It’s going to slow down the brain activity, so it will get you to sleep real fast.

So I want you to think back in your past. You’re laying in bed. You’re trying to get to sleep, and you couldn’t. So your mother, maybe your grandmother, took a nice, cool, wet towel and put it right on your head. You might have had a slight fever, maybe not.

But you notice one thing you fell asleep like a baby. So what I’m sharing with you is scientifically, medically documented to help your brain cool off and slow down, helping you sleep fast and have a good night’s sleep. Please. Please share this with your friends and family.

Leave your comments below. And most important, make it a great day. I’m Dr. Alan Mandel.
